Hi there. Thank you for considering me to quilt your quilt. I've been quilting since 2010. I began by hand piecing a Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt which contained about 3,000 pieces. I went on to machine piecing, paper piecing, applique, and more. Then in about 2014 I decided to delve into free motion quilting on a domestic sewing machine and I was in heaven. And then in 2018 purchased my 1st longarm, a Gammill hand guided machine. It's allowed me to do custom longarm quilting and offer longarm quilting services to you. I'm drawn to it like a fish to water. And I hope you'll see in the pictures here and on my facebook page quilting that speaks to you toward finishing your quilt. I specialize in custom hand guided quilting. I also have robotics on my machines which allows me to combine my free motion quilting with computer quilting designs for truly unique and stunning results. Making every quilt I quilt truly an original, unique piece. My inspiration for your quilt comes from you; who your quilt is for, what makes it special, what you would like it to convey. I'll collaborate with you if you like, or you can leave it up to me and surprise you. It's your choice. I look forward to working with you.
Do you like feathers? Swirls? Pebbles? Traditional or Modern Quilting? Custom longarm quilting can incorporate any of these. Really dense quilting or loose or somewhere in between? Is your quilt to be entered into a show? or is it a gift for someone special in your life? Or is it for you? All good questions. And the answers will dete
And the answers will determine how much time it will take to quilt your quilt. For instance a lap size show quilt will take much more time than a lap size quilt for a young boy or girl. So let's talk. Show me your quilt; let me know your budget; and let's throw some ideas around. We can design the quilting together, or you can let me surprise you. (Surprises . . . Does that terrify or excite you?) Chuckling . . . well, either way, I look forward to working with you.
So what will it cost? For that answer I ask you to check out the downloadable Quilt Intake form, the "Pricing" page and the "Eye Candy" page. You'll see with each quilt picture how many hours it took for the quilting. That will give you an idea of how many hours it will take for what you have in mind for your quilt.
My quilting machines are Gammills. I have 2; a Gammill Vision 2 with Intelliquilter robotics on a 12' frame, and a Gammill Classic Plus also with Intelliquilter robotics on a 14' frame.
These machines allow me to quilt just about anything from a small mug rug to a California King bedspread.

Threads. Depending on the quilt, I have used everything from 12 wt (really thick) to 100 wt (almost as thin as your hair) threads. I've used polyester, nylon, silk, and of course cotton. Each has a purpose. And quite often I use a variety of threads in a quilt.
Batting. I love Quilter's Dream batting. I offer the following for purchase from me:
Quilters Dream Cotton – 100% cotton batting with no scrim, glues, or binders
Quilters Dream 80/20 – beautiful blend of 80% cotton and 20% fine denier polyester
Quilters Dream Wool – shearly beautiful soft and luxurious wool batting
Quilters Dream Poly – wonderful soft denier microfibers. You won’t believe it is polyester!
Quilters Dream Puff – light as a feather, yet warmer than down with 1/3-1/2” of loft
Quilters Dream Bamboo – luxurious blend of silk, bamboo, cotton, and Tencel
You are welcome to bring me batting to use in your quilt, or we can use some of mine. The pricing for batting is shown on the "Pricing" page.
